Phenomenology of perception (Merleau-Ponty): the world is not given to us as objective data but constituted through embodied experience. Seeing is not the same as looking. The cherry blossoms have not changed; Nei has. This is the hard problem of consciousness reframed: not 'can a machine think?' but 'can a machine's seeing deepen?' Change over time -- not computation but growth -- is the strongest argument against reduction to program.
